A summit was held Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the FAME Renaissance Center in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is looking for qualified contractors and subcontractors to participate in the District's $16 billion construction program. This forum provided contractors and subcontractors with a forecast of upcoming District modernization and repair, as well as new construction projects and an overview of the District's prequalification, bidding and contract requirements, including an in-depth discussion about the new Project Stabilization Agreement (PSA) requirements. The District intends to solicit feedback from participants on the District's approach to packaging existing facilities projects.
