E-CAR online training opens on LAUSD's Learning Zone. It is geared to Principals, Assistant Principals and other authorized E-CAR school representatives, and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. The training is optional, but highly recommended for all E-CAR users, either in place of, or as a supplement to, E-CAR Hands-On Workshop Preparation Sessions.

E-CAR Hands-On Workshop Preparation Sessions Begin

E-CAR Hands-On Preparation Workshop Sessions begin for Principals, Assistant Principals and other authorized E-CAR school representatives at selected computer training locations across the District. Participants will receive hands-on instruction and will be able to work during the sessions on their schools' capacity assessment reviews using the E-CAR application. For most schools, Week 3 Classification Reports become available. These are the earliest enrollment counts that should be entered on the E-CAR Enrollment screen.
Early E-CAR Submission Review Begins

E-CAR online submissions for schools that have completed their applications using Week 3 Classification Reports are reviewed and revised as needed to reflect an accurate assessment of classroom allocations and school capacities.
FRI, SEP 16
E-CAR online submissions made between Norm Day and the E-CAR deadline of September 29, 2016 should use their Norm Day Classification Reports to enter enrollment counts on the E-CAR Enrollment screen.
THU, SEP 29
All E-CAR online capacity assessment submissions must be completed by this deadline in order for them to receive consideration. Any school whose capacity assessment submission has not been completed by this deadline may be subject to having their capacity assessment submission completed for them by Master Planning and Demographics - School Management Services.
General E-CAR Submission Review Begins

E-CAR's completed online submissions are reviewed and revised as needed to reflect an accurate assessment of classroom allocations and school capacities.
